Our Story - Why We Collect

For our family, collecting has always been about more than the item itself.

What started with comic books, Pokémon cards, Hot Wheels, and favorite characters gradually became a shared family passion. Over time, our collections expanded to include everything from Disney ears and Magic cards to diecast, action figures, and unique pop culture finds.

Those collections became part of family trips, weekends spent searching stores and shows, conversations around the house, and memories made together.

Meet Scooter - The Collector Behind Vigilante

Behind Vigilante Collectibles is Scooter — a lifelong collector, retired Army veteran, husband, dad, traveler, and someone who has never quite lost the excitement of finding something special. Family has always been at the center of his life, whether traveling together, sharing hobbies, or simply enjoying time with the people he loves.

If there is one character that has stood the test of time for Scooter, it is Batman — which might explain a little of the inspiration behind the Vigilante name.

Scooter also has a natural talent for finding things. Give him something unusual, difficult to locate, or seemingly impossible to track down, and he genuinely enjoys the challenge. That persistence and eye for a great find are a big part of what he brings to Vigilante Collectibles.
